Terms of Service

Agreement to these terms

By creating an account or using SMSTMP (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you're authorised to accept them on its behalf.

What SMSTMP provides

SMSTMP gives you temporary access to phone numbers for receiving SMS — for a single verification (an “activation”). Longer rentals may be offered later under the same Terms.

Numbers come from third-party operators and partners. Availability, price and delivery success vary by service and country and can change at any time.

Your account

You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. In particular, you agree to:

• If you sign up with an email address, keep it valid and up to date. Quick accounts have no email: keep your access key safe, because we can't recover an account whose key is lost.
• Keep your password, access key and any API keys secret, and replace any you believe are exposed.
• Use one account per person unless you have a reseller agreement with us.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• Break the law, or commit fraud, scams, impersonation, harassment or spam.
• Break the terms of a third-party platform, including to get around a ban or suspension.
• Create accounts in bulk or with automated tools, or to abuse promotions, bonuses or referral programmes.
• Complete identity or financial (KYC) verification for an account you aren't entitled to.
• Receive messages intended for someone else, or access accounts, numbers or messages that don't belong to you.
• Resell access to the Service without a reseller agreement.
• Disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the Service.

Balance and payments

The Service is prepaid. Prices are shown before every purchase and may change with stock. Deposits are credited once the payment provider confirms them.

Bonus credit has no cash value and can't be transferred.

Refunds

Activations that don't receive an SMS are refunded to your balance automatically. Refunds of deposits and rentals are covered by our Refund Policy.

Availability

We aim for continuous availability but don't guarantee that a particular service, country or number will be available, or that a third-party platform will accept a number.

Legal and government requests

We may keep and disclose account data, order records and messages received on a number when the law requires it, or when a court, regulator, law-enforcement body or other government authority makes a lawful request.

We check that each request is valid and disclose only the data it covers. Where we're allowed to, we'll tell you about a request that affects your account before we respond.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SMSTMP isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for actions taken by third-party platforms. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. We'll tell you by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days before material changes take effect.
